In the first quarter of 2021, the racing game category has seen considerable activity on mobile platforms in France. Here's a look at how five leading titles performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Mario Kart Tour by Nintendo Co., Ltd. showed consistent revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak at nearly $88K in the first week of January and a low of around $68K in the last week of March. Downloads for the game showed a downward trend from 43K in the last week of December to 20K by the end of March. The weekly active users started at 330K and saw a peak at 540K in the second week of February before ending the quarter at around 454K.

Zynga Inc.'s CSR 2 - Realistic Drag Racing experienced a decrease in revenue from $68K at the end of December to nearly $30K at the end of March. Downloads dipped from 18K to 5K in the same period. The game's weekly active users also saw a decline, starting at 218K and finishing the quarter at around 136K.

Real Racing 3 from Electronic Arts had fluctuations in revenue, peaking at $27K in the last week of January and the first week of March, while downloads declined from 14K to 6K over the quarter. The game's weekly active users decreased from 90K to 64K.

Gameloft's Asphalt 9: Legends, based in France, showed a revenue trend with a high of $26K at the end of December, a mid-quarter spike to nearly $26K, and then a decrease to around $11K by the end of March. Downloads saw a general decline from 22K to 11K, and weekly active users dropped from 46K to 27K.

Lastly, Need for Speed No Limits, another title from Electronic Arts, had a revenue range between $20K and $15K for most of the quarter, ending with a rise to $20K in the final week. Downloads saw a slight decrease from 13K to 7K, while weekly active users showed a decline from 49K at the end of December to 35K by the end of March.
